<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical electrode needle device which is made compact by having a thermocouple on an electrode needle and enables the highly precise detection of a temperature by the thermocouple. <P>SOLUTION: The thermocouple 6 is provided to detect the temperature at a distal end part of the electrode needle 1. The thermocouple 6 is equipped with a distal end connecting part 18 where the distal ends of a pair of coated wires 8, 9 are electrically connected and a distal end coated part formed by covering the distal end connecting part 18 with a polyolefin system synthetic resin.
