A power consumption reduction logic for unscheduled APSD and real time services is provided to lower the whole traffic load by not transmitting the QoS(Quality of Service) null frames for finishing an unscheduled APSD service period in an access point. In a method for controlling periods of transferring frames to a terminal by using a power save mechanism, a trigger interval is set on the basis of an application-oriented interval parameter. An indication indicating service period activities as to the selected frames is set on the basis of the trigger interval. An unscheduled auto power save transfer service period is performed as to frames receiving indication of more data from a remote source by the terminal.
