A structure for a projection TV is provided to reduce the bulk of the projection TV by transmitting an image signal outputted from an engine to a screen by a wire. A light absorbing device converts an image outputted from an engine into an optical signal. A wired transmission body(40) transmits the optical signal inputted through the light absorbing device by a wire. A light transmitting device irradiates the optical signal of the wired transmission body(40) to a screen according to pixels.
