PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizing composition for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material excellent in mildewproof effect, and a processing method therefor. SOLUTION: The stabilizing composition for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material used in a process of processing the silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a compound represented by formula (I) and also contains at least one mildewcide selected from compounds represented by formulae (A-1)-(A-10) and the formula (A-12): R<SP>18</SP>-OH.
