PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic ether compound-containing composition so as to be uniform in film thickness when put to film formation, and to provide a polymeric light-emitting device using the composition. SOLUTION: The composition comprises one or more aromatic ether compounds, one or more compounds≥200°C in boiling point and one or more polymers with charge transport tendency or light-emitting tendency in a solid state, wherein the compound(s)≥200°C in boiling point is(are) selected from the group consisting of aliphatic compound that may have heteroatom(s), alicyclic compound that may have heteroatom(s), aromatic compound having≤2 substituents and heterocyclic compound having≤2 substituents.
