摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately form a colored layer above the opening of a subpixel and to attain shortening of a manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: After forming a transmission region and a reflection region at every subpixel of each color on one surface of a transparent substrate, a coloring material consisting of a photosensitive resin of each color (a negative resist a part of which irradiated with light such as ultraviolet rays hardens) is applied inside the subpixel of each color. In a coloring material hardening process, light for hardening the coloring material is made incident from another surface side of the transparent substrate to harden the coloring material of each color applied onto the transmission region. In a coloring material etching process, unhardened parts in the coloring material of each color are removed by etching. Thereby the colored layer can be formed in the transmission region of the subpixel of each color. Moreover since the coloring material of each color is applied onto every subpixel, irradiation of light for hardening the coloring material of each color can be finished at one time and shortening of the manufacturing process can be attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
