PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device, an image pickup system, and a wireless device by which a large amount of image data is transferred at high speed, and also, the reception side obtain the data as high-image-quality image data. SOLUTION: The image pickup device has a conversion means for converting a series of image data acquired by continuous photographing, to moving-image data composed of reference image data of one frame and difference data to the reference image data for each of a prescribed number of frames. The image pickup system is provided with: a camera body 2 of the image pickup device for transmitting the moving-image data generated by the conversion means to the outside of the image pickup device; a wireless device 4 connected to the camera body 2 and executing communication by radio; and a terminal 6 serving as a receiver for receiving the moving-image data transmitted by the wireless device 4.
