The vehicle has a surrounding field monitoring system that comprises two cameras (2). The cameras are installed on rear end of the vehicle on left side and right side. The cameras are angled to rear area (5) of the vehicle. A display device comprising several display units is arranged in the vehicle for displaying an area that is taken up by the cameras. A control unit is provided for controlling the camera and display device. An independent claim is also included for a surrounding field monitoring system, which is provided in an articulated lorry.
