A method for purifying contaminated river water is provided to safely maintain the stored water level and to safely protect the water gate by controlling an amount of the discharge water. A waterway is formed between both support construction bodies(1). Support shafts(11) formed at both sides of a floodgate(10) are rotatably installed between each support construction body so that the waterway is opened or closed. The flood gate is opened and closed according to an amount of water or the water pressure at a water storage space so that the water is discharged or stored. The flood gate is slantly positioned entirely toward the water storage space side. An operation rod(12) is drawn toward the water storage space side from the support shafts. |
