<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further efficiently perform transfer of medical image data between medical image devices. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer history database 13 stores reference information for selecting candidate devices to which medical image data is transmitted from a plurality of medical image devices while considering the transfer rate. A candidate device 15 selects, in response to a request from a medical image device 3, a candidate device suitable for transmission of medical image data according to the request from the plurality of medical image devices 3 based on the reference information.
