PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer capable of preventing sludge from being settled and deposited at the inner bottom part of a stirring tank and highly efficiently and uniformly stirring the entire inside of the tank with low power. SOLUTION: The stirrer is rotated while being elevated and lowered by its own specific gravity change in stirring fluid W inside the stirring tank 1. On the outer peripheral part of a stirring body 2, a rotary drive stirring blade 3 to be rotated by the fluid resistance of the stirring fluid W received when being elevated and lowered in the stirring fluid W inside the stirring tank 1 and a bottom part stirring blade 4 for stirring the stirring fluid W by the rotation of the stirring body 2 are projected.
