PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide play equipment capable of being played by a child and parents together and being used continuously by changing the use in matching with the growth of the child. SOLUTION: The play equipment comprises a rectangular parallelepiped container 2 for storing sand and multi-functional plates 3 and 4 put on the container 2 as basic components, and the play mode of the equipment can be changed to a sandbox mode or a flower-bed mode. The container 2 comprises holder pieces 2a for holding the multi-functional plates 3 functioning as sand scattering preventive walls in the vertical direction at four corners on the inner wall of the container, and a drain 2b on the bottom wall. Users can play with sand by loading sand into the container 2. When the play equipment is used as a flower bed, the multi-functional plates 3, made of resin which function as drain boards, are spread on the bottom wall of the container 2, and soil is loaded on the plates.
