PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a recording and reproducing device such as a portable player and the electronic device which makes communication by detachably connecting the recording and reproducing device, that does not accumulate dust in the pocket which is the connecting part of the recording and reproducing device and the electronic device, and without making the pocket large. SOLUTION: A 1st terminal 2a is provided being exposed outside of a recording and reproducing device such as a portable player 2, and a 2nd terminal 14b is formed to connect with the 1st terminal 2a inside a swivel pocket 11 opened or closed and extending from outside of an electronic device such as a docking station 1. Further, a lock mechanism 15 is formed to keep the pocket 11 open and the recording and reproducing device and the electronic device make communication through the 1st terminal 2a and the 2nd terminal 14b by keeping the pocket 11 open.
