PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting method of adjusting the superconductive electromagnet of a magnetic resonance imaging device which is capable of keeping a permanent current stably in the superconductive electromagnet for a long term, and restraining a sudden quenching phenomenon from occurring. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging device is equipped with the superconductive coil which is formed through a process of impregnating the wound superconductive wires with thermosetting resin, and curing the thermosetting resin filling into the wound superconductive wires. A process of exciting the superconductive electromagnet with its rated current or an excess current which is larger than the rated current by 1% and smaller than the critical current of the superconductive wires, and then demagnetizing the superconductive electromagnet is repeated at least three times.
