DEVICE FOR SPECIFYING OR TARGETING STIMULATION REGION IN MAGNETIC STIMULATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic stimulation device capable of specifying the position and direction no matter which position an electromagnetic coil is at (device for specifying or targeting a stimulation region in magnetic stimulation).

SOLUTION: The magnetic stimulation device comprises: a magnetic field generation means M1for applying magnetic stimulation to the in vivo region of a subject; a support means M2for supporting the magnetic field generation means M1; a measurement means M3for reading the displacement of the support means M2and measuring the position and direction of the magnetic field generation means M1; a storage means M4for storing data D1including information about the shapes of the in vivo region and a body surface region around the in vivo region and the relative position relation beforehand; a measurement means M5for measuring data D2including the information about the shape and position of the body surface region; and an arithmetic means M6for positioning the data D1and the data D2and specifying the coordinates of the in vivo region.
