COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, PACKET PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND PACKET PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a processing load imposed on a server apparatus in a system provided with an information processing apparatus repetitively transmitting packets and the server apparatus receiving the packets.

SOLUTION: The packet processing apparatus includes: a reception section 31 for receiving a packet; a packet discrimination section 32 for discriminating whether or not the received packet is the repetitive packet repetitively transmitted from the information processing apparatus 1 to the server apparatus 4; a transmission determination section 33 for determining whether the packet is to be transmitted, the packed being discriminated to be the repetitive packet by the packet discrimination section 32; and a transmission section 34 that transmits the packet determined not to be the repetitive packet by the packet determination section 32 and the packet whose transmission is determined by the transmission determination section 33, and does not transmit the packet determined to be the repetitive packet by the packet determination section 32 and also determined not to be transmitted by transmission determination section 33.
