摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin illumination device easy to handle, capable of improving freedom of arrangement. SOLUTION: Planar light emitting bodies 4 having an organic EL element 3 are arranged in a plate-shaped case 2, and a first connector 5, a second connector 6, and a third connector 7 are arranged at a part constituting the thickness of the case 2. Respective organic EL elements 3 of the planar light emitting bodies are connected to an external power supply through a power cable 8, and the respective organic EL elements are made to emit light and illuminate by the external power supply even if any of the first connector 5, the second connector 6, and the third connector 7 are connected to an end part connector 9 of the power cable 8. One connector to be used, out of the first connector 5, the second connector 6, and the third connector 7, can be selected in accordance with a state of arrangement of the illumination device 1, and the freedom of arrangement of the illumination device is improved.
