PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video system comprising a broadcast receiving device and a video equipment device, the video system being characterized in that the broadcast receiving device outputs a partial TS generated by converting a full TS to the video equipment device and an automatic display message can be displayed on the video equipment device. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiving device 1 converts the full TS received by a tuner section 101 into the partial TS by a stream analysis section 102 by extracting only specified TS packets and separates message information related to the automatic display message from the full TS. A message information generation section 103 converts the message information to UPnP representation, and the partial TS generated by the stream analysis section 102 and the message information converted to the UPnP representation are transmitted from a communication section 104 to a TV as the video equipment device.
