PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular motor-driven compressor improving reliability and durability of a capacitor in an inverter control device. SOLUTION: This motor-driven compressor 1 compresses a refrigerant of a vehicular air conditioner by driving a compression mechanism by an electric motor. The inverter control device 10 controls the electric motor, and has control apparatuses stored and arranged in a protective case 11 brought into close contact with a low pressure refrigerant chamber of a housing 2 for storing the compression mechanism, and the capacitor 14 stored and arranged in a capacitor case 15 formed of an electromagnetic noise shielding material brought into close contact with the blow pressure refrigerant chamber.
