<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray humidification mechanism allowing the humidification device to be remarkably downsized by obviating the need of a diffusive evaporation space (distance) of sprayed steam which is necessary in the past and by simplifying the structure of the humidification device without needing to evenly spray steam in order to prevent sprayed steam from being recondensed like a conventional one, in relation to a spray humidification mechanism in low-temperature air. <P>SOLUTION: This steam spray humidification mechanism in low-temperature air is so structured that a blower is so arranged as to set the surface of the blower suction opening perpendicular to the airflow of an air channel; a humidifier for spraying steam is arranged on the windward side of the blower suction opening; the humidifier is provided with a steam discharge hole and a spray opening to discharge steam from the steam discharge hole and to spray it to the airflow of the air channel from the spray opening; the width of the spray opening is set not greater than the width of a suction opening on a projection line of the spray opening on a vertical projection surface of the blower suction opening; and the spray opening is arranged in the vicinity of the center on the vertical projection surface of the blower suction opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
