<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-resistant primer, more specifically a corrosion-resistant epoxy primer free of a hexavalent chromium compound. <P>SOLUTION: The corrosion resistant epoxy primer comprises an epoxy resin, a curing agent, a chromate-free corrosionproof pigment additive selected from a group consisting of an oxide of a heavy metal, a hydroxide of a heavy metal, and a mixture thereof, and a pigment filler, and the epoxy resin is selected from the group consisting of nonvolatile dispersions of a modified epoxy of diglycidyl ether and bisphenol A having a weight epoxy equivalent (WPE) of 450-700 and a viscosity of 12,000-19,000 mPas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
