PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of improving contrast of an image by restricting a view angle, and further decreasing reflection luminance of a non-light emitting part. SOLUTION: The organic EL display device 1 is provided with a retarder 3, a polarizing plate 4, and a viewing field restricting film 5 formed by arranging a plurality of louvers on a view side of an organic EL display panel 2 formed by arranging a plurality of pixels.
