<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical interference resin micro-particle having optical interference effects and excellent dispersibility in an organic solvent and a binder resin even when the micro-particle is not composed of a material with special properties of exhibiting liquid crystallinity, etc., and developing sufficient pearly color and to provide an optical interference composite micro-particle, a cosmetic, a coating, a coated article coated with the coating, ink and a print printed with the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The optical interference resin micro-particle of a flat shape has voids in the interior.
