PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing an endoscope apparatus, which can enhance the efficiency of the utilization of a multi-lumen tube and which enables the multi-lumen tube to be easily repaired without a deterioration in the operability of the multi-lumen tube, and the endoscope apparatus. SOLUTION: In the endoscope apparatus, a bendable bending part is provided in an endoscope inserting part to be inserted into a subject; the multi-lumen tube 23 with a plurality of cavity parts 24a and 24c is set in the bending part; and the bending part is bent via the multi-lumen tube 23 by selectively supplying and pressurizing a fluid into the plurality of void parts 24a and 24c, so that the endoscope inserting part can be directed in a desired direction. The method for repairing the endoscope apparatus includes a setting step of setting a pressure maintaining tube 52, which maintains pressure during pressurization in place of the void parts 24a and 24c, in at least one of the plurality of void parts 24a and 24c.
