The actuator has an operating lever (1) exerting variable actuating force for opening and closing of a vehicle clutch. Pivotal point of the lever is moved using an electric motor. The lever has a rocker curve contour (4) at a surface that stands in contact with the pivotal point in such a manner that an automatic resetting of the lever pivotal point is effected in a reference position when current is not fed to the electric motor.
