PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent dropout from a case even though an inexpensive stopper in a simple structure is used. SOLUTION: In a tensioner 1, a first shaft member 3 and second shaft member 4 engaged with each other by screw sections 8 and 9, and a spring 5 for rotating and urging the first shaft member 3 in one direction are housed in the case 2, and rotary urging force of the spring 5 is converted into propelling force of the second shaft member 4 by restricting rotation of the second shaft member 4. A stopper 15 for stopping rotation of the first shaft member 3 by resisting the rotary urging force of the spring 5 can be inserted into the case 2 so that the stopper 15 is engaged with the first shaft member 3. The stopper 15 can be prevented dropout from the case 2 so that frictional force is generated by making the stopper 15 firmly stick to the case 2 or first shaft member 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
