PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-frequency therapy apparatus which prevents the unprepared and sudden start of the therapy by enabling a user to grasp a pasting discrimination result of a conductor even when a therapeutic current of a frequency which is not easy to be felt by the body is conducted. SOLUTION: A plug 63 of a conductor section 2 is equipped with a transmission circuit 62 to output a signal which is peculiar to the conductor section, a terminal for the transmission circuit 62 and terminals for conductor pads 60 and 61, and a main body section 2 is equipped with a jack 59 to connect the plug 63, a conductor connection sensing circuit 58 which receives a transmission signal from the terminal for the transmission circuit of the plug 63 through the jack 59 and senses whether the connection is made or not and which kind the conductor section 2 is, and a conductor pasting detecting circuit 57 which outputs low-frequency signals from an output circuit 54 to the terminals for the conductor pads 60 and 61 of the plug 63 through the jack 59 and senses whether the conductor pads are attached by the signals from the terminals for the conductor pads 60 and 61.
