An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system having a security device and a controlling method thereof are provided to increase reliability for an ID and information of a tag by adding function for generating an alarm sound when the information corresponding to security is detected from an RF signal provided to the tag from a reader in communication between the tag and the reader. A receiving antenna(71) receives the RF signal of the reader(10). A receiver(73) modulates the received RF signal. A memory(75) analyzes and stores a command included in the modulated RF signal. A controller(77) generates the alarm sound, or generates an alarm to a computer or a host through the network when the information corresponding to the security is detected among the command stored in the memory. A shower system is separately installed from the reader and has an area for radiating a specific intensity of an electromagnetic wave to cover more than one tag(50).
