RFID-READER FOR OFFERING RFID-TAG RELATED INFORMATION AND METHOD THEREOF

An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader and a method for offering RFID tag-related information are provided to offer location information of the RFID tag and information for an RFID tag-attached article to facilitate identification of the RFID tags in case that many RFID tags are present around the RFID reader. A reader communicator(220) receives an RF signal from the RFID tag(100). A controller(240) calculates the location information of the RFID tag based on the received RF signal. A display information generator(260) displays the calculated location information of the RFID tag to a display part(270). A measurer(230) measures intensity of the received RF signal. The location information of the RFID tag includes at least one of distance information for a distance between the RFID tag and the RFID reader(200), and direction information for a direction from the RFID reader to the RFID tag. The controller calculates at least one of the location and direction information by using the measured intensity of the received RF signal.
