A measuring instrument having an auxiliary display apparatus is provided to measure a use amount by pushing an initial switch only one time and to identify a water leakage, an electric leakage or the like. In a measuring instrument having an auxiliary display apparatus(114), an integrated display scale(112) is displayed by displaying a use amount according to the use amount of water supply, electricity, gas or an amount of heat. The auxiliary display apparatus is additionally included for displaying the use amount cooperating with the integrated display scale. And, the auxiliary display apparatus is capable of being initialized by an initial switch(116).
