PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for carrying plants enabling quick shipping of plants while growth of the plants is sufficiently maintained: and to provide a method for carrying plants enabling quick shipping of the plants while growth of the plants is sufficiently maintained.

SOLUTION: The device for carrying plants 1 is detachably laid in a closed chamber 2, has plants (A) placed thereon to be cultivated, and provided with the following: a pipe-type cultivation unit 4 supplying cultivation water to the plants (A); an LED light source 11 from which cultivation light is illuminated to the plants (A); an air conditioner 12 adjusting the temperature and the humidity in the closed chamber 2; a solar battery panel 13 set outside of the closed chamber 2; and distribution equipment 15 where electrical power from the outside part and the solar battery panel 13 is input in parallel to supply the electrical power to the LED light source 11 and the air conditioner 12.
