<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for a water heater allowing a person having poor eyesight such as a visually handicapped person or an aged person to operate it at ease, and user-friendly to a person not having poor eyesight, too. <P>SOLUTION: In this remote controller, because voice guidance corresponding to all switch operation can be issued from a voice output means 6 by performing setting such that the voice guidance is issued according to all the switch operation by a voice guidance setting means 16, the person having poor eyesight can operate the remote controller at ease.
