ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR, ELECTRODE MATERIAL THEREFOR, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND ELECTRODE FOR ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for an electric double layer capacitor of large electrostatic capacitance with low internal resistance of an electric double layer capacitor along with a manufacturing method therefor, an electrode for the electric double layer capacitor using the same, and an electric double layer capacitor.

SOLUTION: The electrode material contains active carbon and carbonacious material which is obtained by thermal process or activating process with a fullerene-contained soot or extraction residue obtained by substantially extracting at least a part of fullerene from the fullerene-contained soot using a solvent. The electrode for an electric double layer capacitor and the electric double layer capacitor use the electrode material.
