Folding up the chair causes the two side parts to be pulled up against the front part by means of a connecting bar with the seat surface. The seat is tilted into the vertical in one go to fold the chair together, while the chair-back turns through a little over 180 degrees. In a sitting position, the seat catches on a pin on the back part thereby preventing the frame moving sideways. The back-rest is clamped between the two side parts when the chairs folded out. At least a finger's width space separates the cross-bars and the front or back part, and the cross-bars of the side parts and seat and connecting bar. The seat is made of flexible material.
