FIELD: medicine, surgery, traumatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating motor system diseases, particularly, to the methods of treating plantar deformations. Due to arch-shaped incision above exostosis of the 1st metatarsal caput one should lance articular capsule to cut a triangular fragment, remove exostosis of distal caput of the 1st metatarsal bone, apply Dacron ligature around the 1st metatarsal bone, the upper part of Dacron ligature should be thrown over metatarso-phalangeal articulation and with he help of special needle it is necessary to apply it around the main phalanx of great toe, after that, great toe should be fixed in position of varus hypercorrection, a knot should be formed and ligature should be tightened up, as for triangular fragment of articular capsule it should be sutured with Dacron sutures due to fulfilling additional fixation of great toe. The present innovation provides decreased traumatism, shortened time for operation and, also, enables to exclude the necessity for developing canals in the main phalanx of great toe and the 1st metatarsal bone. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. ^ 11 dwg |
