PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical disk apparatus in which rotation deflection of a flexible optical disk is suppressed and recording and reproduction of both planes of the disk can be performed. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a driving means rotating the optical disk 3 having flexibility, a head 7 arranged facing to a plane of the optical disk 3 and performing recording or reproducing, and two pairs of flat plate type stabilizing members 13 arranged opposing and holding the optical disk 3 between both planes at an upper stream side and a lower stream side of the disk of this head 7. Thereby, since the optical disk 3 is stabilized at the upper stream side and the lower stream side of the disk of the head 7, rotation deflection of the disk plane opposing to the head 7 is suppressed, and the disk can be flat.
