<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a tablet confectionary which is easy to be shaped into a tablet and gives no gritty touch to the tongue. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A tablet confectionary comprising sorbitol, silicon dioxide and a sucrose fatty acid ester, sorbitol having a bulk density of 0.3 to 0.6 g/ml and a specific surface area of 0.7 to 1.5 m<SUP>2</SUP>/g, the content of silicon dioxide being 0.5 to 1.5% by weight, and the content of the sucrose fatty acid ester being 0.5 to 1.5% by weight. The tablet confectionary is easy to be shaped into a tablet and gives no gritty touch to the tongue, since it comprises sorbitol which is produced by spray drying method and has a bulk density of 0.3 to 0.6 g/ml and a specific surface area of 0.7 to 1.5 m<SUP>2</SUP>/g and has a silicon dioxide content of 0.5 to 1.5% by weight and a sucrose fatty acid ester content of 0.5 to 1.5% by weight.</p> |
