摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of gas sensor element capable of forming an insulating coat in a short time with excellent manufacturing efficiency, when forming the insulating coat on the side face of a non-calcined gas sensor element piece cut out from a non-calcined laminate. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of non-calcined gas sensor element pieces are cut out from the non-calcined laminate formed by laminating a plurality of non-calcined solid electrolyte sheets, and an insulating paste working as the insulating coat 115 after calcination is applied onto both side faces and the tip face where a laminate interface of the non-calcined gas sensor element pieces is exposed. The insulating paste includes an ultraviolet curing resin and alumina powder. The insulating paste applied onto the non-calcined gas sensor element pieces is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray to cure the insulating paste, and to form a cured film. Then, the non-calcined gas sensor element pieces are degreased and calcined, to thereby acquire the gas sensor element 11 with the insulating coat 115 formed thereon. The gas sensor element 11 acquired in this way is stuck onto a heater 12, to thereby complete a heater-integrated type sensor element 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
