PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sector drive device capable of detecting the fully open states of sectors by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The sector drive device 1 includes: a substrate 12 in which an aperture 12a is made; the first sector 13 capable of opening or closing the aperture 12a; the second sector 22 capable of varying the amount of light passed through the aperture 12a; a first drive member 11 for driving the first sector 13; and a second drive member 21 for driving the second sector 22. The second drive member 21 is provided with an engagement part 21b that can be engaged with the first drive member 11. When the first drive member 11 is not in a fully open position, the engagement part 21b and the first drive member 11 are engaged with each other to block movement of the second drive member 21 to the fully open position. When the first drive member 11 is in the fully open position, the first drive member 11 is disengaged from the engagement part 21b to enable the movement of the second drive member 21 to the fully open position.
