PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve both a continuance of a task and coping with a system failure by disaster at low cost. SOLUTION: When receiving a report on remote copy failure from a storage 103A, a host 102A starts a remote copy of a host base. At that time, the host 102A begins from the copy to unfinished I/O. When resuming of the remote copy of a storage base becomes possible, the host 102A first stops issuing of the I/O by an instruction of a management server 104A, and waits completion of the already issued I/O.
