<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case structure of a radio controlled timepiece for receiving radiowave without any trouble even if a metallic timepiece case is used, and achieving improvement of waterproof quality and appearance quality as well as enlargement of design variation. <P>SOLUTION: In this case structure, a recessed part is provided in an inside face of a case back 33 of a timepiece case 30 with an antenna 37 and a timepiece device housed therein and nonmagnetic members 42 and 43 are engaged therewith, whose electrical resistivity are set at 7.0 μΩ-cm or less. The provision of the recessed part and the engagement of the nonmagnetic members 42 and 43 therewith can reduce disturbance of resonance phenomena in the vicinity of the antenna owing to metallic materials, providing sufficient reception sensitivity even if the timepiece case is metallic. This makes it possible to use titanium, stainless steel, etc. for the timepiece case even if it is used for a radio controlled timepiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
