WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM UTILIZING ULTRAVIOLET IRRADIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system capable of realizing an effective measure against algae in water purification treatment without causing an increased operation cost and a large-scale system so as to allow irradiation with ultraviolet rays having a proper ultraviolet amount which deactivates fertility of the algae corresponding to the type and the concentration of the algae included in object water to be treated. SOLUTION: The water treatment system for carrying out water purifying treatment by the ultraviolet irradiation includes an ultraviolet irradiation device 5 for irradiating the object water to be treated with the ultraviolet rays, measurement means 13 for measuring for each type of the algae included in the object water to be treated and control means 10 for controlling the ultraviolet irradiation device 5 so as to irradiate the water with the ultraviolet ray of a sufficient amount to suppress or lose fertility capability of the algae.
