PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supplying mechanism capable of preventing inflow of the bubbles trapped during a printing operation into the head by disposing a supply opening provided in an ink buffer for supplying an ink from the ink buffer to a head higher than the position of the connection between the ink buffer and an ink supplying pipe so as to store the ink more in the buffer, and trapping bubbled in the buffer. SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording device for a printing operation by reciprocally moving a carriage with a head for ejecting an ink mounted, on a medium to be recorded, and ejecting the ink from the head, wherein an ink buffer for temporarily storing an ink is provided between the ink supplying pipe for supplying an ink from an ink cartridge provided outside a carriage to the head on the carriage, and the head such that the supply opening provided in the ink buffer for supplying the ink from the ink buffer to the head is disposed higher than the position of the connection between the ink buffer and the ink supplying pipe. |
