Two rigid bases (20) are situated on both sides of a longitudinal axis of an exhaust catalyst (4). Two grooves (80), on both sides of the longitudinal axis of the catalyst, are oriented along the longitudinal axis and receive the bases for fixing the catalyst on the vehicle during a clamping of the strap.
