PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide camera equipment having an automatic focusing function, which does not require time before termination of photography. SOLUTION: A digital camera has a shutter button 20, a sensor 24 which senses contact of a user and a control means 1 for operating the automatic focusing function upon receiving a contact sensing signal from the sensor 24 in a cabinet 2. The control means 1 is set to a first mode for generating a signal that a photographed image is fetched in a recording medium at a half-press state of the shutter button 20.
