PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect head temperature of a liquid droplet delivering head without providing a sensor or the like on the liquid droplet delivering head. SOLUTION: A switch 32 is provided on the output side of a driving circuit 18 in a driving controlling part 14, and a piezoelectric element 20 is charged with electricity by closing this switch 32 and outputting a charge selecting signal Sm to an SWIC 24. At this time, as the electrostatic capacity of the piezoelectric element changes with temperature, the electric charge in accordance with the head temperature is accumulated. In addition, by opening the switch, the electric charge charged in the piezoelectric element is discharged through resisters Rf and Ri of a negative feedback circuit 22. The terminal voltage Vx at this time is detected by a controller 16 through an A/D converter 34, to judge the head temperature. Based on this head temperature, the piezoelectric element is driven by a driving wave shape signal to adjust the amount of delivered droplets when the liquid droplets are delivered.
