<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for automatic calibration of a touch monitor for forming the touch monitor by connecting a touch screen and the monitor mutually and letting a first data value and a second data value identify unique relation between the monitor and the touch screen. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for relating components in the touch monitor 150 provided with the mutually connected monitor 154 and touch screen 158 mutually, the first data value is stored in a memory 168 connected mutually with the monitor, and the second data value is stored in a memory 180 connected mutually with the touch screen. The first and second data values are used to identify the unique relation between the monitor and the touch screen.
