PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke machine which can perform exact evaluation of singing which cannot be performed only by comparison of pitches of singing with reference data. SOLUTION: A singing evaluation unit 19 analyzes a formant data of singing voices at a voice quality evaluation 130 to generate a transparency degree data and a sounding degree data indicating voice quality of singing, and classifies voice quality parameters for each register through the whole karaoke music at evaluation information generation processing 150, and generates information indicating the comprehensive evaluation of the singing from the classification result of these voice quality parameters for each register.
