When a switching target device accepts a media output notice from a switching source device, a switch (401) is connected with a contact (B) so that whole image data stored in an extended media buffer (402) is inputted from a leading frame (an I-frame) to a decoder (201). This decoder (201) performs a decoding from the I-frame, and holds a reconstructed image in a reconstructed image buffer (202). The reconstructed image, as needed for decoding moving-image data outputted from a media buffer (2108), is held in the reconstructed image buffer (202), so that the decoder (201) can perform the decoding instantly, no matter whether or not the moving-image data inputted at a device switching time from the media buffer (2108) might be an intra-frame.
