<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cellulose acylate optical film which has no yellowness and no die line and is formed by melt-processing, to provide a cellulose acylate optical film obtained by the producing method and to provide a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device using the cellulose acylate optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the cellulose acylate optical film is characterized in that at least one metal deactivation agent is added to a cellulose acylate satisfying the substitution degrees expressed by the following formulae (1)-(3) and then the cellulose acylate is melt-processed into a film; 2.4≤A+B<3.0 (1), 0≤A≤2.4 (2), 0.3≤B<3 (3), wherein A represents the substitution degree of an acetyl group and B represents the sum of the substitution degrees of an acyl group having 3-7 carbon atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
